R-FON maker wants to make smartphone close to Google, Apple devices
MOSCOW, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- Russian company ROSA, a developer of smartphone R-FON, is mulling cooperation with the leading software developers to make the device as user-friendly as those by Google and Apple, General Director Oleg Karpitsky told PRIME late on Thursday.
“We want exploitation of Russian smartphone R-FON to be as close to the market leaders Google and Apple as possible. The comfortable environment, familiar applications…Our company is working on various options of cooperation with the leading software developers, including VK,” Karpitsky said.
“The installation of applications store RuStore on mobile operating system ROSA Mobile will expand the capacity of our applications store ROSA Market. Thanks to it, every user of R-FON will be able to find and install needed software,” he added.
According to earlier reports, the phone will be manufactured in the city of Zelenograd, one of Moscow’s districts, and will be offered on the market at the end of 2023.
